Project Title: WYPE (Women and Youth Protection and Empowerment)

Locations: Ar-Raqqa: Tell Abiad

Beneficiaries: 1875 beneficiaries are the women and youngs.

Overall objective: To contribute to reducing the burden of the crisis on people at risk by developing and integrating protection, skills empowerment and informal education services to increase their resilience

The project summary:

The project objective is to increase viable inclusive protection opportunities and the overall psychosocial and emotional wellbeing of conflict-affected women and youth by empowering them to play an active role in their communities and feel valued for their contributions which will include the participation of local communities, and coordination with other organizations operating in the same or near areas

Silk Road Organization will establish a safe space in Tell Abiad Community for people who will be involved with the project and will be managed by Silk Road Organization team and this safe space will provide protection activities  i.e: PSS, life Skills & informal activities  for Youth Male and female aged 15 -24 years old and adults ) as per each age group requires such as regular drop-in sessions which include different recreational activities for (children with age from 10-14 years old) that will create the emotional balance to individuals reflecting that to the family and community levels.
