Project Title : Enhance the resilience of conflict affected people in Harim communities by providing them with Olive agricultural inputs and technical support.

Overall objective: Contribution to improve the food security and livelihoods in north west Syria
The project summary:
This project will support 500 olive farmers (4 donums per beneficiary), 15% of them at least are women, where they will be provided with agricultural inputs, ploughing the farms two times, conducting training by establishing farmers schools, and technical support for farmers, where Silk Road agricultural team will supervise and follow up on the crop case during the whole season, supplying the farmer with fertilizer, equipment (Trimming Scissors, saw, and axe) which help them breeding their orchards.
On the other hand, agricultural training will be provided at all stages of the project to educate the farmers the correct scientific methods that must be taken into consideration in the agricultural process, by the established farmers school for all targeted 240 farmers, so all technical issues related to olive tree breeding will be covered and the farmers will be able to apply correct practices, also agricultural brochures will be distributed for the farmers to raise awareness and guide them to the correct scientific methods which must be applied.
