Food Support Project for Affected Communities in Idlib Governorate

Duration: The project implementation period is 12 months
Starts: 01/02/2019
Ends: 01/30/2020
The targeted site: the project implementation areas, three areas are the Harem region, the Termanin area and the Ma`tarasrin area
Beneficiaries: 4,500 Syrian families will benefit from this project in the three regions mentioned above so that each family will benefit from the project for three months in a row and then families are replaced and so until three boilers are implemented to follow up the project with a total of 4,500 families and about 20,000 individuals
The overall objective of the project: This project contributes to providing the food that is indispensable and needed by people through the distribution of food vouchers to beneficiaries, which will contribute to providing these materials to the internally displaced and the host community. This project also aims to help those affected by crises to deal with the urgent need for food Due to the crisis, lack of access to food, and high food prices through increased access to the necessary basic foodstuffs, as well as improved access to local markets through the Food Stamp Program, which in turn enhances the capacity of vulnerable IDPs and host communities.
The vouchers that will be distributed can be redeemed with foodstuffs in specific local stores, and the beneficiary can purchase whatever items he wants according to his desire, equivalent to the value of the voucher, which is 50 dollars.
