Silk Road Organization has announced the launch of the second phase of the Emergency Response Project to distribute hygiene kits to the Returnees and IDP’s in the areas: Akhtarin, Suran, Arima and Mare’ in Aleppo countryside, including more than 45 villages, In order to increase access to several personal hygiene and reduce the damage associated with polluted drinking water under the broad title: "With our cooperation we protect ourselves".
The project included 9000 hygiene kits and 18,000 Jerry cans water for more than 9,000 beneficiaries in the towns. The second phase of the Emergency Response project also included awareness campaigns for women and children about the risks of unhealthy practices.
